Q:What we need?
A:Mercx always start the project with detailed consultation gathering information about your company and brand.
We supply a guideline questionnaire which provides us with most of what we need. Company mission briefs and content should be
supplied in a word or suitable document. Logo’s and brand identity guidelines (if any). Any images you may already have
with permission for us to edit. We do ask for a 50% deposit due to security reasons, Mercx understands this be high for
some customers so we are flexible if this is a problem.
*Mercx charge 50% deposit after agreed design and before the build phase is implemented.
We need a vacation
Q:How long will it take?
A:This is the age old question “how long will it take?” As we value the individuality of each project is impossible to state final project completion dates. We do work around with a rough timeline of 1 week for a small site, 2-4 midrange and 4 plus weeks for large sites. It all depends on how much of the existing brand there is and how much content there is to be included on the final site.

Q:How much will it cost?
A:Mercx has a fair pricing policy and we do not start work until you are happy with mock-up designs. The packages we offer are again just a guideline as we respect each project individually. We are not the cheapest web design studio out there but the point is you get what you pay for. If you are looking for a low low budget site then expect a poor site, something we do not offer. Mercx produces quality.

Q:Do you do printed media?
A:Yes that's correct not only do we offer quality web design but printed media too. Mercx has a primary function of promoting your business not matter what the media. We believe in strong branding and identity, this is where we have the edge as we can deliver this across all media types. With some studios they only offer web design so you have to go to other places to find printed material. Mercx offer one stop one shop design promotional service. Business cards, flyers, well practically anything you could dream can be printed.

Q:I want to sell do you offer E-Commerce?
A:We do have the facility to do this on request but are more focused on design creativity. The basic level consists of shopping cart and payment method to paypal. More advanced payments methods such as credit cards cost a lot more per month and are more complex to setup. Basically the more you require, be prepared to pay more initially but reap greater rewards later.

Q:Do you design logos?
A:We have been asked this a lot even though we state we are a graphic design studio. We can design your company a brand from scratch or take existing material and give it a fresh appeal. We prefer to offer this service with web design so we can see our full design grow into a full working brand.

Q:Do you offer photography?
A:Mercx has the strengths of a skilled web design service coupled with skills of photography and design. We offer a bespoke service with our design service. With the right image your product or service will attract a lot more attention. Mercx are skilled photographers capable of taking images from 1cm away to portraits or even landscape shots. The most common is the close-up shot to display a product, it is crucial to get the best image for these small shots as this is what you are selling.

A:If you haven't heard of Google where have you been. Google is the worlds number one search engine. Google map also has many other features including handy Google maps. With this feature we can get clients to find you no matter where you are, directions and route finder. It also can also help rankings to be registered with Google maps.

A:If you are starting from scratch with us we can the we can offer you a variety of email address names. If for instance you have www.yourcompany.co.uk then a good example would be service@yourcompany.co.uk or support@yourcompany.co.uk. We can offer multiple variances for different contact requirements. This helps email response time and organization, as well as portraying a professional image for your business.
